Idle Reduction and Diesel Retrofits
The Earth Day Coalition's Sustainable Cleveland Partnership and Clean Transportation Programs are working with NOACA's Air Pollution experts to educate local commercial vehicle fleets about the importance of meeting US EPA air quality requirements for our region through the use of diesel retrofits and idle-reduction policies. To that end, we've posted a compendium of idle-reduction policies for any fleet or city looking to implement such a practice.
Vist our page on practice based solutions to learn more about idle-reduction or have a look at our page on technology based solutions to learn more about the common types of diesel retrofits.
If you are interested in having this information presented to your city/fleet or to a group of fleet managers that you regularly convene, please call or send an email to progam coordinator, John McGovern.
